PreCAP (vs. Bruins, 4/11/10)

PreCAP (4/11/10); Washington Capitals vs. Boston Bruins, 12:00 PM, NBC

I shall keep this short and to the point. Both teams have clinched playoff spots. This game has absolutely no meaning to any player on the ice except Alexander Ovechkin. He is, as of 11:30 PM EST Saturday, tied with Steven Stamkos for the goals race and 1 behind Henrik Sedin for the points race. Stamkos has 1 game left, Sedin is done after tonight, and Sidney Crosby, still a contender in both races, has 1 game left. Honestly, I hope Bruce Boudreau puts the explosive 1st line of Alexander Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - Alexander Semin on the ice; that line went 4-5-11 against Atlanta. I wish Ovie the best of luck in the Rocket Richard and Art Ross trophy races. Also... get excited, the playoffs start this week!
